Having a successful career after staying home with the kids is possible!

You had a great career pre-kids. Maybe it was in finance or marketing or you were an mngineer. You may have loved it or hated it but it was yours.

Then kids came and your career fell to the sidelines while you focused on them. The years have passed, the kids have gotten older and now you're realizing that drive has never left you, you just put all your energy in to the kids.

The kids are older, maybe they're tweens/teens and you have more time to think about what's next for you. You're day dreaming about starting that interior design business you always dreamed about. That clothing brand that you know fills a gap in the marketplace. Or maybe, you don't know exactly what your next step should be but the idea of going back to that finance job sounds like a great way to make money, but also feels like it will suck your soul if you do it.

So here's the deal...I get you. I completely understand what may be holding you back, what might be terrifying and exactly why you should do it anyway.

Fun fact, I am going to tell you the truth.

I will not tell you what gaps you need to fill in your resume.

Or which take classes to learn the thing to do the thing.

Or that your lack of experience in the field is going to hurt your chances of success.

I call that out for what it is. A bunch of  "bullsh*t".

You don’t need to be told what classes to take.

What program to follow.

You don't need to wonder what that "expert" on Instagram did and ask if you can do it too.

Reinventing yourself after kids shouldn’t be so hard.

It doesn’t have to be, you can choose an easier path forward.
